A couple of months back we went iowards Monduli. It was a perfect day to test my new 50 mm lens and practice.

Wonderful colorful bee-eaters. They are not easy to take photographs of... they move so fast.

Tarangire National park... again

Quickly... a few more shots... Even if life is slowing down a little bit.... I still have no or little time for myself besides work. A few months ago I though about quitting... maybe I should have.

I am still sorting out the photos of our week-end at the beginning of October...  Sorry, not much text as I am still so busy at the office and I am very tired. though the light is near...

A lilac-breasted bee-eater. Its colors are amazing.

During that week-end we saw many herds of zebras.

Catching up with life.... at least trying to

I am trying to catch up with life.... So much work at the office. I still have not gotten time to sort out the photos for our week-end in Kitumbeine and Tarangire National Park. I am at the begining of Day Three out of four.

 

Though here are some photos.

On the art side, I have not had so much time to play with my art supplies. Though i have just received a Dick Blick order and it feels like christmas!! I just love that Dick Blick delivers to Tanzania!!! I have dicovered new supplies and I am so in love with them!!! I will speak about those in another post.

We have been moving furniture around in the house and I now have a painting/crafting table by the window in the office/studio. It is more convenient than crafting on my small lovely desk and it is far better when i am playing during power cuts. I am currently working on a portrait.... as it is not finished I will not share it yet.

Arusha

Sometime ago I started to post photos about Arusha and its surroundings. I will keep on posting from time to time about Arusha.

One of our Japanese restaurant. The other one is quite fancy and so good.

A furniture store. I have to admit that my furniture is not similar to this style. The good thing here is that if you have a clear idea of what you want, you can have very nice furniture made.

Some example of the electric supply system here... Look at all the wires pending... No wonder that we have so many power cuts. We already had one today. Though I have to admit that the situation has improved... When I arrives in Arusha, for almost a year I had 12-hour power cuts... all week-ends and sometimes during all the week too!
